We’re in a busy bar yet feels like it’s just us two. The ambient noise just orbit us - we’re alone. My body is giving my thoughts away, saying things I haven't said out loud yet. A tilt of the head. The way I turn toward you when you speak as if everything else just fell slightly out of focus — the waiter, the couple beside us, the song that just changed. You soften. I sharpen.
I reach for my glass and my wrist grazes yours that it could be accidental. It isn't. Though not deliberate either. There’s a rush exists in that very particular in-between that I find endlessly interesting.
You notice every movement like this, an almost-imperceptible pause before you answer, the way your eyes settle on me just a beat longer than conversation strictly requires.
I notice you noticing.
Our pretending is its own kind of intimacy. A small secret we're already keeping together, barely five minutes in.
This is my favourite part - an ellipsis before our story really begins.

Eve Osyth is one of a few eras of mine, to say the least. Literature-lover, music afficionado, culture vulture, cinephile. tasting-menu lover, outdoorser, Crémant drinker… These are just some baseline loves of mine and I want to seek out more with you.
Being under-the-radar is a personal preference of mine, always discrete - dressed elegantly in tailored clothing posing as your assistant, perhaps. I’m drawn to quasi-affairs… those where we pick up where we left off the minute we see each other. Similarly, simply enjoying a singular experience is also completely stimulating for me. I chase ethical, high-octane fun.
Present-day, my preferred state is feeling delicate, resplendent, cherished like a jewel. Give me a great pair of heels, and I can pretty much handle any room. Although that grounded, mischievous teen who’s not afraid to get dirty still makes up the most of me.
I love to hear and learn what makes you click. Most of all - I revel in the secrecy, the fantasy, the reprise from reality for us; I know you’ll feel this too.
I will meet you with grace in whatever life situation you’re in and I expect the same for me.
I’m currently starting my third business and adore professionals who have something to teach me. Who knows, maybe I have something to teach you too.
I keep my mind & body flexible through voracious reading, regular Pilates and mindfulness of the company I keep. Just small gestures, discernment, a penchant for travel & good grooming will get you as far as you want to be with me. I’m not interested in who you are, but what you can express briefly in your introductory e-mail.
